This journal operates a double-blind review process. This indicates that the authors will have no information regarding who the reviewers are, and vice versa. All submissions to the Bali Journal of Anesthesiology are subject to a peer-review process.
All submissions will be initially assessed by the editor for suitability for the journal. Papers deemed suitable are then typically sent to a minimum of two independent expert reviewers to assess the scientific quality of the paper. The Editor is responsible for the final decision regarding the acceptance or rejection of articles. The Editor's decision is final.
Due to our double-blind review policy, we cannot reveal publicly the names of our respected reviewers. However, internal investigation and review have been made in order to ensure that all reviewers are experts in their respective fields. All participating reviewers will provide a conflict of interest statement to avoid subjectivity.
In rare cases where the review sent by a reviewer is not deemed sufficient, the editor has the right to find a third reviewer to assess the manuscript.
The editors and reviewers ensure that all manuscripts that are being reviewed will not be shared with another party to keep their confidentiality. This is also valid for all rejected articles submitted to our journal.
